ASSAM, A PARADISE ON EARTH

WETLAND NEAR GUWAHATI, ASSAM:
I love the touches of greens those greets me when I entered Assam! The greens everywhere really refreshes me beyond an exotic experiences. I love this land, the Northeast, the cultures of Northeast, beautiful glimpses of the simple village life be it in and around Maibang or the Mokokchang, the exotic land of great biodiversities always greet us with a warm welcome. The land of assam, the beauty of assam transcends beyond time like the land of Shangrila, the place of "Ever Youth."

THE ABANDONED
The snap was taken from Brahmaputra Mail while going to Lumding on summer vacation. The snap was taken in lower Assam depicting an abandoned railway bridge construction site. previously MG trains used to ply along through BG lines, this bridge is one of the remnants of those days.

THE SIGNATURE OF THE LAND OF ASSAM
Red soil, Green Fields and Blue Mountains, Assam is the home of exotic beauty. Assam is one of the states of India located in the South Asia. There are several National Park in Assam including the famous Kaziranga and Manas National Park. In fact, the entire state is a display of the beauty of Nature. There are couples of Wetlands and Aviary in Assam.

THE LONELY GUARD
A bridge over a local river carrying oil pipe installation. Assam produces petroleum and it boasts of four large Refinaries producing nearly 40% of total domestic consumption of petrol, diesel and CNG.
